And the time I was recording a song on an audio tape and when I went to rewind the tape on high speed, the tape stretched and got caught up inside the recorder and the recorder had to be replaced. Well, the tape was so thin, of course it stretched and snapped and got stuck inside the recorder. Wouldn’t that happen to anyone?
Have a missing or damaged tile? Take a sample to your local home improvement store to see if they can match the color. Replacing an entire floor of tile is expensive as well as a heinous chore. Save money and time by finding a tile that is a close match to the existing tile.
Winter could be very hard on your home, and it would urge you to turn up your thermostat to the highest you’re comfortable with. Why not wear some extra layers to help with the cold? Summers could be hard to deal with too. Wear comfortable clothing, open up your windows, turn on the fan and drink cold water instead of turning up the air conditioner.
Another product that helps in a similar way in colder months is a dehumidifier. Again, this needs to be kept at the same humidity level (30%-50%) in order to work.
The first and best, line of defense against the sun is covering up. Wear a hat with a three-inch brim or a bill facing forward, sunglasses (look for sunglasses that block 99-100% of ultraviolet rays), and cotton clothing with a tight weave.
Get an allergy test. Knowing exactly what you are allergic to, can be the single greatest advantage you can have in dealing with allergies. Not all pollen is the same. Some people are triggered by tree pollen, others by grass or weeds. What you thought was an allergy to pet dander, may actually be an allergy caused by undiagnosed dust mite or mold problems in your home. Only an allergy test can provide you with definitive evidence of your triggers so you can create an appropriate plan to deal with them.
In the winter, turning your heater on high will draw on your gas supply. By keeping it on low, it will only take the exuded heat from the engine to heat your car. To conserve gas in the winter, wear a thicker coat and only turn your heat on low.
When going down the road to find Lee’s, it was impressive that they had signs along the way pointing you in the right direction. Once you were on the right path all you had to do was follow the signs to get there. You pull in to the resort and you can see a small mini grocery store that you can purchase things in if you need something. I never went in there, but it looked nice. They also have a small playground with swings and a slide. There is a pool, but it was outside and not open due to the time of year we visited this place. If you go during the summer months, they offer rentals on ski boats and jet skis.
